Conway's X profile is rife with anti-Trump content; even his cover image contains the slogan, "Vote for Joe, not the psycho."
George Conway, who until last year was married to former Trump aide Kellyanne Conway and had himself vied for a position in the previous administration, cut a check to the Biden Victory Fund for $929,600, the maximum amount allowed.
According to Axios, along with the financial contribution, Conway will also be headlining a reception in Washington, DC to further propel the president's re-election efforts.
The event, organized by political consultant Melissa Moss and public affairs executive Susan Brophy, is scheduled to take place on April 24.
In an interview with CNN, Moss explained that when she approached Conway about making an appearance at the fundraiser, she made no mention of monetary assistance. Nevertheless, he insisted, saying, "I want to make a statement; I'm all in."
"This election is about nothing less than whether we'll continue to live in a democracy under the rule of law," Conway later told the outlet. "That's priceless, so I consider my contribution to be a bargain."
After failing to land a job in the Trump administration, Conway changed his tune on the former president, becoming one of his most vocal critics, and even helping add to his legal woes.
As Bloomberg reports, Carroll testified that he played a key role in getting her case against Trump off the ground. She sued Trump for defamation for the first time in 2019, who said the allegations against him were to boost sales of her then-newest book.
Carroll testified in 2023 that she decided to consider suing Trump after speaking to Conway at a party, a lawyer she said "who knew the ins and outs."
"Before that, you had no intention of suing Donald Trump, as we just heard," a Trump lawyer stated, to which Carroll agreed.
Conway's X profile is rife with anti-Trump content; even his cover image contains the slogan, "Vote for Joe, not the psycho."
He has parrotted all the major Biden campaign talking points, and even spread the now thoroughly debunked "animals" hoax, wherein a clip of Trump appearing to equate illegal immigrants to animals left out important context showing that he was only referring to violent criminals such as the man who killed Georgia nursing student Lake Riley.
