Man sets himself on fire at South Carolina Tesla charging stations while trying to torch them with Molotov cocktails

According to the Post and Courier, a masked man in Charleston, South Carolina spray painted "(expletive) TRUMP LONG LIVE UKRAINE" near a number of Tesla charging stations and then attempted to burn the charging stations, only to set himself on fire in the process. Witnesses saw him flee the scene and run behind nearby hotels. He has not yet been identified.

He hurled Molotov cocktails at the charging ports, which are located near 4855 Tanger Outlet Blvd. The damage he caused to the charging stations was estimated at $60,000. Witnesses began to dial 911, however, the man fled, running past a Zaxby's location as he went in the direction of a hotel nearby.

Violent attacks on Tesla dealerships, many of them backed by left-wing organizations, per Elon Musk, have happened in many states in opposition to President Donald Trump and DOGE head Musk, as the tech entrepreneur has been highlighting and cutting government waste. Attacks have happened Oregon, Colorado, New York, California, Massachusetts, and now South Carolina.

Seven Tesla charging stations were set on fire earlier this month in Boston in a show of violent protest against Musk. The founder of the electric car company has said that there are five "ActBlue funded" organizations that are linked to the various protests against the car company.

In a post earlier this month, Musk identified the groups as the Troublemakers, Disruption Project, Rise & Resist, Indivisible Project, as well as the Democratic Socialists of America. He also identified major donors to the groups through ActBlue, namely George Soros, Reid Hoffman, Herbert Sandler, Patricia Bauman, and Leah Hunt-Hendrix.
