Mark Milley has been a busy man since retiring from the military last year, landing gigs in a variety of sectors from advising to education. He has, like so many other former government officials, also taken to speaking, joining the same agency that represents Hillary Clinton.

With multiple streams of income now flowing in, the former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff appears poised to bring in far more than his already impressive $204,000 military salary.

According to the Intercept, Milley has been brought on by JPMorgan Chase as a senior adviser, and joined the faculties of both Princeton and Georgetown where he serves as a guest lecturer and fellow in residence, respectively.

His speaker's agency, Harry Walker, paints a glowing portrait of the former government official, suggesting his "substantive experience in leadership provides impressive and enlightening insight for every audience who engages with him."

"General Milley’s depth of knowledge and discernment of today’s geopolitical issues gives shape and meaning to the shifting power centers in the global operational environment," the description continues. "His perspective is invaluable for audiences looking to understand the impact of current conflicts and managing risks on boards of directors and leadership teams who are responsible for making strategic decisions and identifying vulnerabilities. More than a lesson in history or current events, General Milley helps audiences understand the significance of this moment in time as a potential turning point in history."

One of Milley's recent speaking gigs involved addressing a gathering of 160 CEOs at an event organized by investment bank Moelis & Company, which said he was "terrific." Another, which focused on education and leading in times of crisis, was sponsored by Deloitte.

As the Intercept reports, while Milley's speaking fees were not listed, other ex-government officials such as former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton have routinely brought in hundreds of thousands of dollars per engagement.
