Dozens of masked left-wing student agitators arrived at the doors of a University of MIchigan Board of Regents member to make a list of demands while they chanted anti-Israel slogans and left bloody fake corpses on the lawn at a home and went to other residences as well.

UMichigan Board of Regents member Jordan Acker posted about his confrontation with the student agitators on Wednesday.

"Around 4:40 am, a masked intruder came to the door of my family's home with a list of demands, including defunding the police. My three daughters were asleep in their beds, and thankfully unaware of what transpired," Acker wrote.

"Early this morning, more than 30 student protesters staged demonstrations at the private residence of at least one U-M Board of Regents member and went to several others’ residences. Activities included placing tents and fake corpses wrapped in bloodied sheets on the lawn, marching and chanting, and posting demands on doors," a release about the incident from UMichigan stated.

The agitators who came to the door during the confrontation hid their faces with masks, and those participating in the school's Gaza camp protest claimed responsibility on social media.  "GOOD MORNING, [Regent Hubbard]," the Tahrir Coalition said. "This morning, on the 76th anniversary of the Nakba, students hand delivered our demands to Regent Hubbard. About 2 weeks ago, she laughed at students demanding divestment while she attended a party next door to our encampment."

Tahrir stands for "Transparency, Accountability, Humanity, Reparations, Investment, Resistance" as stated on the organization's website, and states, "Our mission is to decolonize our university, acting in solidarity with the victims of the American empire."

"Nakba" is an Arabic word meaning "catastrophe" and is used to refer to the failed attack Arabs launched against Israel shortly after its founding in 1948. Palestinians and Arabs launched several more attacks on Israel, and when they failed to destroy the nation, they referred to their attack as a Nakba.

The Tahrir Coalition describes themselves as a “90+ student organizations united for the TAHRIR (liberation) of Palestine at the University of Michigan.”

UMichigan reiterated in the statement that "the tactics used [in the protest] represent a significant and dangerous escalation in the protests that have been occurring on campus. Going to an individual’s private residence is intimidating behavior and, in this instance, illegal trespassing. This kind of conduct is not protected speech; it’s dangerous and unacceptable."

Board members took photos of the agitators at their homes.

The confrontations at the homes follow the school asking the encampment on campus to disperse. The protesters have remained on campus for several weeks now, according to WXYZ.
