Maxim Magazine on Thursday announced on X that it is endorsing former president Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election. This comes as some mainstream media outlets have been announcing their endorsements.

The post, which received over 114,000 likes as of Friday afternoon, stated, "Maxim endorses Donald J. Trump for President."

The post features a photo taken for Fortune in 2000, with Trump sitting in his 1997 Lamborghini Diablo VT Roadster, which sold for $1.1 million at auction in January. It was owned by Trump until 2002, and was in a special-ordered blue color. Sitting on the tail of the car is then-model Melania Knauss, who is now Trump's wife.

One reply, which has received over 7,000 likes stated, "And you just lost zero fans. Probably gained some."

Conservative activist Scott Presley added, "Thank you. Please register to vote at your current address."

Radio host David Webb wrote, "At Maxim, they know the answer to the question 'what is a woman?’"

According to Fox News, Maxim was launched in 1998 by Felix Dennis, and its current editor-in-chief is Sardar Biglari. The magazine describes itself as "catering to the modern man with content that promises to seduce, entertain and continuously surprise readers."

The magazine is currently owned by Biglari Holdings, and at its peak in the early 2000s, Maxim’s subscription reached over 2.5 million readers.
