A video has surfaced of Nina Jankowicz showing the recently named head of the Department of Homeland Security’s Disinformation Governance Board saying "Critical race theory has become one of those hot button issues that the Republicans and other disinformers…have seized on."
At the event in Cleveland, Jankowicz said, "Critical race theory has become one of those hot button issues that the Republicans and other, you know, disinformers, who are engaged in disinformation for profit, frankly, there are plenty of, you know, media outlets that are making money off of those to have, have seized on."
The new "czar" of the aptly nicknamed "Ministry of Truth" added, "And I live in Virginia and in Loudon County, that's one of the areas where people have really honed in on this topic."
Contrary to Jankowicz's claims, public schools in Loudoun County have been exposed for a long, coordinated effort to institutionalize critical race theory despite public opposition. The county became a hotbed of controversy when the content, and efforts to institute it, were exposed.
Jancowicz’s objectivity has been called into question after tweets and videos showcasing her implicit bias were discovered on her TikTok account. Over the weekend, Jancowicz removed her TikTok account from public viewing.
In 2020, the "expert on online disinformation," as described by White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki, claimed that the process of verifying what's "real" or "fake" online should not be the domain of the executive branch of the government.
