The 40-year-old model posed with Trump and Melania in an endorsement post on social media.
In a picture posted to Instagram, Rose posed with Trump and Melania with a caption to announce the endorsement of the presumed GOP nominee for president.
The caption was simply "Trump 2024" with three American flag emojis. The endorsement was met with harsh backlash from some fans and praise from others. The endorsement from the model comes as more minority voters have shifted away from Biden and towards Trump in recent polls.
Conservative influencer Xaviaer DuRousseau posted in a comment, "Hot & successful people know Trump 2024 is the way." Rose pinned DuRousseau's thoughts on her post.
The comment surpassed over 4,100 likes in the post. In comments from user Anthony Raimondi (conservativeant) and Craig Long (officialcraiglong45), both gave Rose praise as well for endorsing Trump for the upcoming election in November.
Additionally, some who are more left-wing and opposed to Trump decided to comment, with several saying they are going to "unfollow" Rose because of the endorsement. Others said that they could not believe that someone who is a proclaimed feminist would support Trump.
"I've never unfollowed someone for political reasons but to speak on feminism the way you have then align yourself with him, let's me know it was all fake from the jump. There's no way you can support women while supporting this man. I hope it's all worth it for you," one user commented.
Another said, "The fastest unfollow on the planet. D*mn amber I wish you did this privately Imaooo."
Trump has been making inroads in black as well as Hispanic communities recently. Over the weekend, a rally that had many minority supporters of Trump gathered in South Bronx. Trump will also be holding a rally in South Bronx on Thursday.
