A recent, nationwide poll conducted by WPA Intelligence shows that most Hispanic voters across the US are opposed to children being exposed to drag queens and also oppose gender ideology being taught in schools, reports the Daily Caller.

Sixty-one percent of respondents stated they believe it is inappropriate for drag queens to perform in front of children under ten years old, while fifty-seven percent responded that it was inappropriate for teachers to discuss topics such as gender identity and sexual orientation with school children in kindergarten through 3rd grade.

1,288 Hispanic voters took part in the poll which was conducted between Oct. 4-7.

According to the Daily Caller, the WPA Intelligence poll found that foreign-born Hispanics were more likely to be conservative than those born in the US, with sixty-nine percent of foreign-born Hispanics responding that drag queen shows for children were inappropriate compared to sixty percent for US-born Hispanics.

Likewise, sixty-one percent of foreign-born Hispanics felt K-3 children being taught gender ideology was inappropriate compared to fifty-seven percent of US-born Hispanics.

Where respondents got their news also appeared to be a factor in how Hispanics felt about these issues, noted the Daily Caller, with those receiving their news mostly from Spanish-speaking liberal outlets such as Telemundo or Univision viewing children’s exposure to drag queens and gender ideology less negatively than those who got most of their news from English- language sources.

A previous poll by WPA Intelligence showed Hispanic voters support of Florida Gov. Ron Desantis and his Parental Rights Bill.
