One user commented on his video, "We need cards for good guys like Luigi too."
Luigi Mangione, the suspect in the shooting, has been taken into custody. However, some, like the socialist clothing maker, appear to be celebrating the shooting. Comrade Workwear founder James Harr announced that he made the deck of "most wanted CEOs" and took inspiration from the "most wanted Iraqi" playing cards that were given to US forces in the 2003 invasion of Iraq, per the New York Post.
Harr said the deck in Iraq helped the US military “find and do what they needed to do” to the individuals on the list for the US to take out. Harr is making the cards so that they include the names as well as faces of who he deems to be the "most wanted CEOs."
In one of his social media posts, which are filled with anti-capitalism messaging, he wrote, "The CEO must die." Harr has over 100,000 social media followers across multiple platforms and in a video to his audience, listed off the names of CEOs that he plans to have on the cards. People following the socialist activists commented in response with praise and made more suggestions about CEOs that should be added to the list.
One inquired in a comment, “Does it include addresses?” Another added, "We need cards for good guys like Luigi [Mangione] too," in reference to the alleged murderer.
Harr said that the cards will have "suits" that will represent different industries in the US, with clubs being in the pharmaceutical and chemical companies. Hearts will be for real estate and retail, he added, saying that those cards will represent industries for things that you "need to survive." Diamonds will be for tech, finance, as well as media and spades will stand for "oil and war."
He added in a video that a QR code on the cards will bring you to a page that will explain why the CEO is "evil." The back of the cards displays the words “Most wanted CEOs” along a graphic of a shooting target in the shape of a person.
