Authorities have released the mugshots of two 17-year-olds charged in the killing of Capitol Hill intern Eric Tarpinian-Jachym, ending months of withholding their identities.

Tarpinian-Jachym, 21, a University of Massachusetts Amherst student interning for Republican Rep. Ron Estes of Kansas, was gunned down in Northwest Washington, DC, on June 30. Police said the attack occurred at about 10:28 pm when suspects opened fire on him and two others, a 16-year-old male and an adult woman. Investigators later determined the shooting was targeted, but the intern was not the intended victim, according to ABC News.

“Investigators are still searching for another suspect, 18-year-old Naqwan Antonio Lucas, who also faces a charge of first-degree murder while armed,” KFOX TV reported.

US Attorney Jeanine Pirro confirmed the teenage defendants will be tried as adults.
