Multiple players and staff of the Toronto Blue Jays have tested positive for coronavirus, according to Sportsnet.

Toronto shut down its Florida training facility after one of the players displayed symptoms of the virus.

All MLB training facilities in Florida and Arizona were then shut down after multiple people from other teams exhibited symptoms or tested positive.

Due to an increase in Florida and Arizona coronavirus cases, there are 29 teams looking to train in the ballparks they use in the regular season. The Blue Jays are still hoping to play the season in Toronto.

This follows the leagues announcement of a 60 game season beginning on the 23 or 24 of July. Players are set to report to camps beginning July 1 at staggered times for intake screening.
