MUST WATCH: Steve Bannon BLASTS neocon Nikki Haley: 'The representative of the neoliberal neocon oligarchs that run this nation'

Steve Bannon took aim at presidential candidate and former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley on War Room on Friday, saying that she's "the representative of the neoliberal neocon oligarchs that run this nation. Full stop."

"I just want to make sure we connect two broad themes here," Bannon told viewers. "They talk about her taxes," he said, noting that as governor she had increased both sales and gasoline taxes.



"Nikki Haley is the representative of the neoliberal neocon oligarchs that run this nation. Full stop," he said, before laying out the two things that he believes evidence this.

"Number one, in those taxes: what they don't talk about those are regressive taxes that hurt people lower down the food chain when I say low down the food chain." It's the middle class, he said, and the lower middle class that truly suffer under these kinds of taxes.

"She never talks about taxing the wealthy ever," he said. "She's the donors Praetorian Guard." Haley has a history of raising taxes on people in the form of taxes the burden for which falls on every day people trying to get by and live their lives. What this does, Bannon said, is protect the "donor class."

He also took issue with her plans and past for entitlement spending, which is essentially to reduce them. "Until we can show any cut in discretionary spending, the American people are not prepared to have the political class touch their entitlements, they shouldn't. The political class is totally untrustworthy," Bannon said.

While he said that this is a discussion that should be had, it is not one that can be had under current conditions. In fact, he doesn't believe there can be a real conversation about modifying or reforming entitlements like social security and medicaid until "the political class has stopped working for the global masters."

Nikki Haley is also very interested in continuing to fund the war in Ukraine, which, as Bannon noted, "everybody in the world even the European people don't want to fund right now."

Money being sent to Ukraine has actually been used to prop up salaries, pensions and healthcare for Ukrainian bureaucrats, Bannon said, and this is being done while Americans' pensions and entitlements are under attack. 

"We're not we're not going to fund anybody's pensions throughout the world until we make sure that the American people are taken care of," he said. "This is why she's neoliberal neocon Nikki."
