MUST WATCH: Tulsi Gabbard says Biden's focus on 'diversity' reflects 'core principles embodied by Nazism'

During an appearance on "Jesse Watters Primetime," the ex-congresswoman said, "What we're seeing here is their philosophy of identity politics, and this is one of the main reasons why I left the Democratic Party."

Former Democrat-turned-independent Tulsi Gabbard on Friday compared President Joe Biden's emphasis on "diversity" to the "core principles" of Adolf Hitler's Nazi Germany, arguing that hiring people due to immutable characteristics like race "goes against traditional Democratic values."

During an appearance on "Jesse Watters Primetime," the ex-congresswoman launched into fiery tirade about race and gender-based hiring practices, telling the host, "What we're seeing here is their philosophy of identity politics, and this is one of the main reasons why I left the Democratic Party."

"... their agenda of identity politics is directly undermining the traditional Democratic values that were expressed so beautifully and clearly by Dr. Martin Luther King; that we should judge each other not based on the color of our skin, but based on our character," Gabbard said. "And yet... they're proud to be judging people, hiring people, selecting people, based on race, which is really — let's be clear how serious of a problem this is — it's based on genetics, race, based on your blood, your genes, and where do we see that connection?"

The former presidential candidate said that these values within the Biden administration are  "the very same geneticist core principles embodied by Nazism and Adolf Hitler."

According to Gabbard, these principles "should be something that is sickening and alarming to every single Democrat and every single American."

One major instance where the Biden administration has touted "diversity and inclusion" in selecting officials was in the president's appointment of Rachel Levine to the position of United States Assistant Secretary for Health. In October 2021, the administration celebrated "the first openly transgender four-star officer and first female four-star admiral of the U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps," despite the fact that Levine remains biologically male.

At the time, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) declared, "Today's historic announcement builds on the accomplishments of LGBTQ+ History Month and is a major step forward as we work to create a more inclusive society."

Since serving in the position, The Post Millennial has uncovered and reported on multiple instances of this "inclusive" hire causing trouble, including working towards medicalized gender transitions for children and advocating for censorship of those who disagree.

According to Gabbard, such diversity picks for health officials and other public administrators are parallel to Nazi superiority ideology.

"We have seen where this philosophy can lead. The American people deserve so much more," she said to Watters. "We need leaders who will select people based on their character, how committed they are to the Constitution, and the capabilities that they bring to actually do the job that they're hired to do. Most importantly, their heart. Do they have a heart and commitment for serving the American people?"

Watters asked, "You're saying the focus on genetics is in a way similar to what was going on in Germany?"

Gabbard responded, "You look at the core values and core principles of Adolf Hitler and Nazism. What is it based on? It's based on genetics, this is that philosophy of geneticism and discriminating against people based on their genes."

"And that's the issue here," she continued. "... This goes against, again, the very vision our founders had for us. It goes against traditional Democratic values. And most of all, the American people deserve to know that those in positions of power and leadership are putting their interests first, regardless of race or gender, or religion, or politics, or anything else. That's the responsibility of our leaders. And that's what we, the American people, deserve."
