Kuzma's comments came in reaction to Mamdani's video where he admitted he could not actually arrest Netanyahu, but still maintained that the Israeli leader is a "war criminal."

The post from Kuzma is in line with some of his other takes and he has become known in the NBA as someone who will push back on progressive political views, something most NBA players have not done.
In an Independence Day post, where Jordan Peterson, a Canadian, took the time to celebrate the US, Kuzma responded, saying, "Elite."
He has also praised Elon Musk. When someone said online, "Elon has had so many missed promises that when he talks of the future, it’s hard to take him seriously," Kumza replied, "Missed promises are the price you pay for aiming 10x higher than everyone else."
Mamdani has faced heavy criticism from Jewish organizations as well as others for his claim that he was going to arrest Netanyahu and has accused Israel of committing genocide in Gaza. Last week, after President Donald Trump said on Truth Social that nobody would be arresting Netanyahu, Mamdani recanted his past comments with the video.
