NBC's Andrea Mitchell claimed on Sunday that the Kamala campaign's "problem" with male voters is due to sexism, or what she called "misogynation." She said the campaign needs to "double down on more interviews and serious interviews" Meanwhile, Kamala Harris has a busy week planned, with appearances on The View, Stephen Colbert, and the Howard Stern Show.

"I think they’ve got to double down on more interviews and serious interviews," Mitchell said, "because what I’m hearing from Democratic and Republican business people and a lot of men—and she’s got such a big problem with men—I think there’s an undercount of the Trump vote. I think that there’s misogynation in all of this, black and white men—big problem. But also in the business world, they don’t think she is serious. They don’t think she’s a heavyweight, and a lot of this is gender. But she’s got to be more specific about her economic plans."

"To Andrea's point," said Kristen Welker, host of Meet the Press, "the gender divide is just so significant. You see the extent to which Harris is winning with women and that Trump is winning with men."

"It's huge," said Amna Nawaz, "It's the largest we've had in modern history. It seems to be getting bigger with time. Look, for people who know who they're going to bake for. We know like 80% of registered voters are kind of baked in right? It's - the latest PBS News poll now shows some 20% of folks say they're swayable in some way, 15% say 'I think I know who I'm voting for, but I might change my mind.' 5% say I don't know who I'm voting for. But I think with the things they are looking for at this stage of the game, there's no one big event, right, that's going to change people's minds one way or the other. It comes down to the issues."

That doesn't seem to be what's on Harris' mind, however. As Breitbart puts it, "Hollywood-controlled media are rolling out the red carpet for Kamala Harris this week, welcoming the Democrat presidential candidate to a range of friendly media appearances as part of a planned offensive to enhance her likeability in the final stretch of the election cycle."

The hosts of these shows have nothing but animosity for Kamala's competition, Donald Trump. Howard Stern calls Trump voters "stupid." Stephen Colbert has had nothing but derision for Trump and his supporters. And The View's Joy Behar recently implored Republicans to vote Democrat just this one time to defeat Trump. Whoopie Goldberg, in the lead View chair, also hates Trump. The viewers of all of these shows are already receptive to Harris, who has been criticized for only taking friendly interviews.

Her running mate, Tim Walz, appeared on Fox News this weekend with Shannon Bream and could barely answer for his policies in Minnesota, which may give an indication as to why the campaign steers clear of what they may perceive as hostile interviews, otherwise known as interviews with journalists who actually ask questions about policy and the candidates' records.
