Netflix has taken it upon themselves to remove an episode of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia over scenes featuring blackface, among many other shows.

The ninth episode of the sixth season entitled "Dee Reynolds: Shaping America's Youth" is no longer available to stream, according to Digital Spy.

The episode features characters Mac and Dee in blackface, and was removed Thursday. But the rest of the series is still available.

The streaming powerhouse has also removed The League of Gentleman for the same reason.

Little Britain and Come Fly with Me has also been removed over portrayals of blackface characters. Both of the shows have also been dropped by BBC iPlayer and BritBox.

"There's a lot of historical programming available on BBC iPlayer, which we regularly review. Times have changed since Little Britain first aired so it is not currently available on BBC iPlayer," a BBC spokesperson said.

Netflix has also removed the shows Angry Boys, Summer Heights High, We Can Be Heroes, and Jonah from Tonga for the very same reason.

This severe censorship comes after Antifa and BLM have taken to the streets to protest and riot over the unjust death of George Floyd.

Netflix recently launched a Black Lives Matter collection to highlight stories about the experience of black people.
