A new credit card, set to launch on Tuesday, aims to cater to conservative consumers, with plans to donate a portion of its profits to causes more aligned with this target group.

The Visa card, Coign, looks to stand out amongst countless other credit card options by donating a portion of its profits to conservative-centered causes, which will be voted on by cardholders, according to the Washington Examiner.

To get initial customers, Coign is reportedly being made available for zero membership fees, and is offering 1 percent cashback on all purchases.

The card was founded by Rob Collins, former executive director of the National Republican Senatorial Committee and Republican lobbyist.

The advisory team includes former Senator Cory Gardner, GOP strategist Chris Hansen, Matt Lira, who previously served in the White House under former President Donald Trump, and a former NRSC executive director who is currently advising Pennsylvania Senate candidate Mehmet Oz.

Financial backers reportedly include at least one billionaire family, according to the Washington Examiner, and, as Cosign puts it, "All of our investors are American Conservatives who are all US citizens and have supported and voted for our last 4 Republican presidents."

"Coign will let conservatives voice their priorities through charitable donations they get to pick, all while offering world-class customer service, consumer protections, and cashback on every transaction," Collins said in a statement to the Washington Examiner.

The card is proposed as an alternative to other credit card options, which donate to liberal causes that go against potential conservative consumer’s values.

According to the Washington Examiner, "Collectively, the 10 largest credit card companies are among the firms that have donated to liberal groups, GOP operatives involved with Coign say."

"Too many corporations are investing their customers’ money in political and social priorities that align with their executives, the media, and the Left’s agenda," Collins said in a statement. "For the first time, the Coign card will allow conservatives to ‘Spend Right’ no matter where they shop."
