A new guidebook has come out for parents whose children have been captured by the gender cult.

The guide was released by a nonprofit group—set up to protect children from government overreach in both health and education—called "Restore Childhood." The group argues that childhood transition is not a "left versus right" political issue, and that there is a broad consensus among Americans of all political stripes "that there should be legal restrictions on the medical transition of children."

The new guidelines are designed to empower parents with resources and information so that they don't feel as though they must give in to the contentious notion of "affirming" their child's chosen gender identity.

"The information in this toolkit is intended to rise above the culture war noise to empower you to make evidence-based decisions in parenting and influencing public policy," wrote the group.

The group also touches on the hot button issue of "parental rights"—which, according to many hard-left activists, is nothing more than a dog whistle for conservative bigotry that seeks to restrict the autonomy of children—including children who wish to transition in secret from their families. According to Restore Childhood, the US Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) is misrepresented by activists as legislation that enables students to hide information from parents; in reality, says the group, FERPA was meant "for parents to protect their kids' privacy."

Natalya Murakhver, one of the gender toolkit's creators—who previously was involved in an initiative to end masking and COVID restrictions for school children—explained her vision to The Post Millennial:

"[I]t is clear that there is a catastrophic pediatric emergency going on and we are not responding quickly enough to the evidence that pediatric sex reassignment procedures are irreversibly harming children and youth. Restore Childhood brought together a group of parents, doctors and mental health experts to look at the evidence and help parents understand the very complex and charged landscape about pediatric gender transition… We are optimistic that, armed with these tools, parents can make better choices for their children."

Topics addressed in the 46-page toolkit include: the oft-repeated lie that children will commit suicide if prevented from transitioning their gender ("Would you rather have a dead son, or a trans daughter?" is a common appeal to emotion made by those pushing transition); the danger of allowing biological males to compete against girls in sport; the nefarious manner in which schools transition children without parental knowledge or consent; tips on how parents can navigate discussions about gender with educators; and the lack of clinical consensus, and poor—or absent—evidence to back up medical transition of minors, as detailed in England's Cass Review.

"We believe that all children are deserving of safe learning environments and that gender nonconformity, which is completely natural and found across cultures, must be respected," said Restore Childhood.

The group's guidance could not have come at a better time: America's mental health industry is so far gone into gender lunacy so as to be not just useless—but also dangerous. At the same time, the medical industry is bursting with doctors who fear for their jobs and reputations if they go against the current narrative on child sex changes. Whistleblowers face FBI investigations—and even prison time—for questioning said narrative. Educators, meanwhile, have convinced themselves that they are helping by pushing children on a secret gender journey.

Parents, clearly, need the help.
