Hunter Biden's sentencing date has been set for November 13, taking place right after the election, for his gun charges. President Biden’s son faces up to 25 years in prison as well as a max fine of $250,000.

According to The Hill, a federal judge will decide Hunter's fate with his federal gun charges after he was found guilty of lying about his use of drugs when he applied to purchase a gun in 2018. He was found guilty in June of making a false statement in a firearm purchase, possession of a gun by someone who is an unlawful user of addictive substances, and other charges.

President Joe Biden has stated that he will not pardon his son Hunter in regard to the gun charges.

Delaware US attorney David Weiss, whose office worked on the case said: “Ultimately, this case was not just about addiction, a disease that haunts families across the United States, including Hunter Biden's family. This case was about the illegal choices the defendant made while in the throes of addiction.”

When a guilty verdict was struck in the case, Hunter wrote in a statement: "I am more grateful today for the love and support I experienced this last week from Melissa, my family, my friends, and my community than I am disappointed by the outcome. Recovery is possible by the grace of God, and I am blessed to experience that gift one day at a time.”

Following his conviction on the charges, Hunter’s law license was suspended by the DC Bar. Although the 54-year-old Biden is facing a max sentence of 25 years, his total prison time may be less as he is a first-time offender.

Hunter's not going anywhere. Daddy will make sure of that.

So Hunter won't be sentenced until after the election. But Trump will be sentenced before the election. Nothing to see here folks.
