MSNBC host Joy Reid was caught on a hot mic Monday night complaining about President Joe Biden "starting another f*cking war."

She made the comments during during a montage of clips showing President Biden talking about the border crisis and his insistence that he can't do anything to fix the problem that his policies and executive orders have created unless Congress passes legislation he proposed.

That legislation would require Congress to give more money to fight the war in Ukraine as well as give more money to hire more border agents and immigration judges to process illegal immigrants into the US more quickly.

"Over the weekend," Reid began, "President Biden said he's ready to take action if Congress is serious about the solving the border issue."

"If that bill were the law today I'd shut down the border right now and fix it quickly," Biden said in a clip.

"Congress needs to get it done," he said.

In the background, Reid, on a hot mic, said he's "starting another f*cking war." Reid has complained that those who wish to close the border to illegal immigrants sound like "old southerners" opposing integration.

The current conflict in the Middle East escalated over the weekend when three US service members lost their lives on Sunday due to a drone attack in Jordan.
