"What it contains is my definition of delivering them on a silver platter, a short video of the main guy with nancy the day that was probably her last," the note said.
According to the report from TMZ, the outlet received an email from a person claiming to know the identities of the kidnappers. The outlet said that the email is from the same person who sent the previous one and referenced the same Bitcoin address where other ransom payments have previously been demanded to be sent.
The person writing the email scoffed at the idea that the FBI would think that he is a woman. "I am not the idiot who recently called in a tip about her burial site in Mexico," the email went on to say. He claimed that there are two kidnappers and has previously disclosed that there was more than one.
"I have a phone stashed in a secure location guaranteeing both the information it stores and the safety of the phone," he claimed in the email. "What it contains is my definition of delivering them on a silver platter, a short video of the main guy with nancy the day that was probably her last, pictures of both involved, names and addresses and age."
The email then claimed that the phone is in a "location easy to access if you know where it is." He then said he would disclose the password for one Bitcoin, which is approximately $60,000. The email from the person demanding the one Bitcoin has been forwarded to the FBI.
Guthrie disappeared on January 31 earlier this year, and the family received a series of ransom notes surrounding the crime. The investigation into her disappearance is still ongoing, and authorities do not have any suspects.
