The roommate who spoke to the FBI about Tyler Robinson, who has been charged with Charlie Kirk's murder, has been identified as Lance Twiggs, who lived with Robinson in a three-bedroom apartment in Saint George, Utah, according to the Daily Mail.

Twiggs' identity was also revealed in other reports, including some that said Robinson was living with a transgender partner. However, it is not clear if Twiggs is the individual referenced in the reports as being transgender.

Kirk was shot in the neck on Wednesday and later died at a hospital in Orem, Utah. He had been speaking to college students on his "Prove Me Wrong" tour, and during a debate with a student, he was struck by a gunshot. He was then transported to the hospital, where he later passed away.

Jerry Twiggs, the grandfather of Lance, told the outlet that he was not able to comment on rumors that Lance identifies as transgender. "I don’t want to comment on that. I’m not sure what his situation is exactly right now," the grandfather said, adding that he had never met Robinson before. He confirmed Lance had been talking to the police but did not know many other details. "After he was with the police, he’s been at his house, and there’s no way for us to contact him other than going over there," Jerry Twiggs added.

Twiggs is attending Utah Tech University, according to his social media. Robinson was taking classes at another college nearby. Both were avid gamers, according to the Daily Mail, and Twiggs had in his TikTok bio: "Becoming TikTok pros one terrible video at a time."

Robinson and Twiggs were part of a large Discord chat group, friends of the two told the outlet. Incriminating texts about the whereabouts of the rifle, as well as messages about engraving bullets, were found on Discord between Twiggs and Robinson.

Although authorities have not confirmed an official motive for the shooting, Utah Governor Spencer Cox has said that the investigation thus far has revealed Robinson to be "deeply indoctrinated with leftist ideology."

Prayer vigils have been popping up across the country in the wake of Kirk's death, including in Arizona, Utah, Washington, and many other states. Additionally, multiple artists have crafted songs since Kirk's death to honor his life and legacy.

In a livestream on Friday, Kirk's widow, Erika Kirk, said, "To everyone listening tonight across America, the movement my husband built will not die. It won't. I refuse to let that happen. It will not die. All of us will refuse to let that happen. No one will ever forget my husband's name and I will make sure of it."

Kirk was the co-founder of Turning Point USA, a nonprofit organization that aligns with conservative principles and the freedoms of America and has chapters at many colleges, universities, and high schools around the nation.
