The MLB’s plan to relocate the All-Star Game comes in protest of Georgia’s election reform bill, and said that the bill fails to demonstrate their “values,” which many called hypocritical citing Colorado’s voter ID laws.
Major League Baseball announced Monday that they plan to relocate the All-Star Game to Coors Field in Denver, Colorado, after caving to pressure from the political left and deciding to pull the game out of Georgia last week in response to Georgia’s election reform bill which sought to restore security and confidence in the state's elections.
"Coors Field in Denver has been chosen to host this year’s All-Star Game," ESPN reported. "It will mark the second time the homer-friendly home of the Colorado Rockies will host the Midsummer Classic. The American League beat the National League 13-8 at Coors in 1998."
Colorado Democrat Governor Jared Polis released a statement to 9News Sunday night, pleading for the MLB to select Denver’s Coors Field as the new host of the All-Star Game. The last time Colorado hosted the All-Star Game was in 1998. "The Governor knows that Colorado is the best home for the All-Star Game, especially because Colorado also has strong laws that enable voters to cast their legal ballots any way they choose including through mail or in person. The Governor will be burning up the phones the next few days to see if there is an opening to bring the All-Star game to Denver," said Governor Polis.

"Over the last week, we have engaged in thoughtful conversations with Clubs, former and current players, the Players Association, and The Players Alliance, among others, to listen to their views," MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred said in a statement. "I have decided that the best way to demonstrate our values as a sport is by relocating this year’s All-Star Game and MLB Draft."
Seems @MLB didn’t read Colorado election law just like they didn’t read Georgia’s law.
First-time mail voters in CO must include copy of ID with ballot.
CO matches signatures on mail ballots. Georgia no longer does.
In-person CO voters must show ID.

According to a statement on the Colorado Secretary of State's website, "All voters who vote at the polls must provide identification. If you are voting by mail for the first time, you may also need to provide a photocopy of your identification when you return your mail ballot."

Those who criticized MLB's decision to relocate the All-Star Game to Colorado noted that they selected a city with far-less racial diversity. According to statistics, Denver is 76.1 percent white and 9.2 percent black, whereas Atlanta is 40.9 percent white and 51 percent black.
Atlanta is 52% black. Denver is 10% black. And Colorado requires voter ID. https://t.co/ANTuLaM6M6

The MLB has yet to explain the deciding factor on their decision to move the All-Star Game to Denver but the announcement comes as the City of Denver experiences rampant increases in homelessness and crime due to failed democratic policies, which was heavily documented in the documentary 'Denver in Decay.'
Colorado Voting Requirements:
-ID required for in-person voting -Early voting: 15 days prior to election -Poll times from 7:00am-7:00pm -Incarcerated felons disenfranchised https://t.co/I8qwa7pbql

To compare, the MLB is choosing to relocate the All-Star Game from the conservative state of Georgia, which is exceedingly more diverse with lesser Voter ID laws, to the democratic city of Denver, the less diverse city with stricter Voter ID laws.
