The Washington Post published a positive profile piece about a Palestinian terrorist group in the west bank that has been known to commit suicide bombings.
The Al-Aqsa Martyr Brigades group is classified as a terrorist organization by the United States Director of National Intelligence. The group has sent suicide bombers into a sandwich shop, attacked Tel Aviv, and at one point planned to carry out a major bombing in Israel.

The Post starts its piece, "Tomorrow’s martyrs: Inside a Palestinian militant cell in the West Bank," describing the outfit of one of the terrorists in the group, who was wearing a "black Adidas tracksuit." The Post goes over the life of one of the terrorists, Zoufi, who said he has been "forced to be the policeman, the father, [and] the guard" for a terrorist cell.
The Post spent three days with Zoufi and 15 other terrorists in his cell at the Palestinian camp, Jenin, and wrote that they have been living "on one side of the worst violence to grip the West Bank in decades."
The Post highlighted that Israel has sent hundreds of soldiers into Jenin to show a "force" that was "not seen in the West Bank in 20 years."
Palestinians were "compelled to take up arms because the Palestinian Authority has stayed on the sidelines," according to the Post. Many have seen their "government as another arm of the occupation, sharing intelligence with Israel."
The terrorists the Post interviewed said that their other cells are loosely connected and are affiliated with different terrorist organizations such as Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad.
In the section labeled with the header, "No innocent Israelis," the Post said the terrorists "spoke admiringly of gunmen who ambushed Israeli civilians, including an attack last year outside a Tel Aviv pub that killed three Israelis."
A Jenin-based fighter said to the Post, "There are no innocent Israelis... They kill our women and children. We will do the same.”
The Post ended the profile piece by saying that, for the terrorists, "death feels like a calling." To conclude, they quoted another terrorist who said, "We are tomorrow’s martyrs."
