On Sunday, House Representative Nancy Mace was caught flip-flopping on her vaccine stance, telling Fox News and CNN viewers different takes on the effectiveness of the COVID-19 vaccine.
"In some studies that I've read, natural immunity gives you 27 times more protection against future COVID infection than a vaccination. And so we need to take all of the science into account and not selectively choosing what science to follow when we are making policy decisions," Mace said on Sunday Morning Futures with host Jason Chaffetz.

Later that same day, Mace flipped her stance, telling CNN viewers that vaccination and mask-wearing is the key to preventing COVID-19, foregoing natural immunity altogether.
"I have been a proponent of vaccinations and wearing masks when we need to. We had the Delta variant raging in South Carolina, I wrote an Op-Ed to my community and I work with our state department of health, I have run ads encouraging my district to go and get vaccinated," Mace told CNN host Kaitlin Collins.
"When we have these variants and spikes to take every precaution from washing our hands to wearing N95 or KN95 masks more than the medical masks. There is a significant, statistically significant number of people that are protected from COVID when they wear these masks," she continued.
Twitter users condemned Mace's appearances on the two channels, calling out her flip flop instance.
Compartmentalizing politician forgets people have access to both channels. https://t.co/ZzBZOwLiiT

Yes, Nancy Mace is a hypocrite. She’s a Republican after all. They’re ALL like this. Which is why CNN needs to do better. Much better. Letting the doublespeak go on unchecked is far more dangerous than the actual BS she’s spewing. https://t.co/iR1nl6a7eD
