Despite Mediaite’s claims that Bongino is losing conservative support, conservatives on Twitter started tweeting out under the hashtag #standwithdan to express their support.
Conservatives are coming to the aide of Dan Bongino following a Mediaite piece released on Wednesday that falsely claimed Bongino is losing support from conservatives, and that his stance against vaccine mandates is merely "virtue signaling."
"The radio program, syndicated through Cumulus, which has a vaccine mandate — that conversation has not been going well," Bongino said in October, just days after Cumulus announced their vaccine mandate. "It's been degenerating even worse. It is ongoing, but as I said to them, and I will repeat again with Cumulus: I am not going to be there while there is a vaccine mandate. They can have the vaccine mandate or they can have me, but they can't have both."

The Mediaite article bases its claim that Bongino is losing his conservative support on the accounts of two rival conservative talk show hosts, Dale Jackson and Derek Hunter.
Jackson said that Bongino was “virtue signaling," saying that “The reason why I called it virtue signaling is very simple: the mandate went into place a week after he said he wouldn't work for a company that had a vaccine mandate.”
Bongino has received the vaccine himself, but says he stands behind an individual's right to choose.
"I'm vaccinated, I had lymphoma which is a cancer of the immune system, and things are okay now, but I was as high risk as they get," Bongino said in a Fox News interview, noting that the decision came after consulting with his doctor and oncologist.
"This has nothing to do with the vaccine," Bongino continued. "The left hated the vaccine when Donald Trump's operation created these vaccines, the left — it's still out there. You can go watch it and read their tweets. They said they'd never take it. They don't trust it. And then they flipped on a dime when Joe Biden waltz this way into the Oval Office and all of a sudden, you're a heretic if you dare ask questions."
"If we stand in solidarity and say my body is mine. It was given to me by God it was not a ward and is not a ward of the state. I will determine what goes in it and what does not go in it via some injection and a vaccine. When we stand in solidarity, there is nothing they can do," he continued.

. @dbongino is taking a stand for what is right. He has skin in the game and is putting his money where his mouth is. More of this energy in the conservative moment!

"Loses conservative support" is based on quotes from two competing radio hosts, and the update debunks the entire premise of the article. Real bang up job @colbyhall https://t.co/pnsenCouRp
— Matt Palumbo (@MattPalumbo12)
??It is time for other heroes in the conservative talkers pantheon like Mark Levin, Ben Shapiro, Clay Travis and Buck Sexton to #StandWithDan.

RT and support @dbongino
He is doing the wholly AMERICAN thing: defending freedom for others whose choice differs from his own. He is vaccinated BY CHOICE. He’s standing up for those who don’t have his voice but also want to choose, against an insane mandate.

Americans are losing their jobs because they want to make a medical decision by themselves.#StandWithDan for pushing back on vaccine mandates!
Will other @CumulusMedia hosts have @dbongino's back?@benshapiro @marklevinshow@ClayTravis @BuckSextonhttps://t.co/8FEIYfYhmR
