Advisor for Biden White House admits ‘deep state’ is real, says bureaucracy could ‘crush’ Trump’s pick for HHS head RFK Jr: OMG

"People joke about the 'deep state,' but to some degree, it's real," Cohen told an undercover OMG journalist. He revealed the extent to which the deep state operates, saying, "It's not just a matter of ordering people to do things. They have ways to slow things down or block you without you realizing it."

Cohen informed the journalist that he anticipated that Kennedy would encounter significant obstacles from the bureaucracy if the Senate confirmed him. Furthermore, the advisor conveyed his own disapproval of the nominee.

"RFK Jr. is a very bad pick for HHS," he said, adding that "There's a good chance that the bureaucracy just crushes him."

The journalist pressed Cohen further, asking, "Can you give me an example of, like, how you think they'll do it when RFK, gets in?"

Cohen responded, explaining that "One of the ways you can slow things down in a bureaucracy is you can commit to studying something put together, like a commission." These commissions, he said, citing an example of commissions to study fluoride and water, but "years will pass and nothing has happened." He later added that HHS "if they don't want to do something, they have ways to kind of fight it. They like, they can slow walk something. They can pretend to be working really hard on something when they're not."

The journalist asked whether it would be "subverting the will of the people" to put pressure on blocking Kennedy, to which Cohen replied,

"You could argue that the will of the American people was to elect Donald Trump and give them the ability to appoint people he agrees with to the cabinet. I think the counterargument is that, for the most part, the American people don't actually agree with RFK’s views on things like vaccines."

"So I mean, in a literal sense, if you were like blocking something he was trying to do to undermine vaccines, you are probably doing, like, acting in a way that is consistent with what the majority wants as a policy outcome. But you're also kind of subverting the political process as it is normally meant to operate."

Records show that Cohen is an Executive Branch Fellow serving as an advisor for Interagency Research and Development Oversight in the White House Office of Pandemic Preparedness and Response Policy. He has since removed his profile on Linked-In following the OMG Media sting.
