American Federation of Teachers President Randi Weingarten and Executive Vice President Evelyn DeJesus posed with a Ukrainian flag poster emblazoned with the words "We stand with Ukraine," and an AFL-CIO logo. The only problem is the flag was printed upside down.
Ukraine's flag has blue on top, and yellow at the bottom, representing the sky and wheat. The country is known as Europe's bread basket. The flag symbolizes a blue sky over a field of wheat.

View on RumbleThis was a major clout fail for the union heads, who represent some 12.5 million American educators. Many found it hard to believe that Weingarten, DeJesus, and the AFT itself could possibly be involved in the educations of millions of American school children when they couldn't even print a foreign flag for a country they allegedly "stand with" correctly.

"When you're in such a rush for social clout you get the flag upside-down," John Cooper said, communications director at Heritage Foundation.

We are committed to advancing these principles through community engagement, organizing, collective bargaining and political activism, and especially through the work our members do."
They apparently are not versed in foreign flags, or even how to do a quick search on the internet.
Later, it appears that a correction to the posters was made, with the posters reversed, and the words pasted over in the correct position.
