Anti-Israel agitators disrupt actress Gal Gadot’s Hollywood Star event
“This star will remind me that with hard work and passion and some faith, anything is possible,” said Gadot.
“This star will remind me that with hard work and passion and some faith, anything is possible,” said Gadot.

Israeli actress Gal Gadot's Hollywood Walk-of-Fame ceremony was disrupted by anti-Israel protesters on Tuesday. About two dozen agitators arrived with Palestinian flags just moments before the ceremony was scheduled to take place. Despite multiple attempts to disrupt the occasion, the star of Marvel's "Wonder Woman" walked away with her name engraved on a Hollywood Star, a prized accolade among the world's most famous actors and actresses.
The disruptors arrived on Hollywood Boulevard just before noon, which was lined with supporters of Gadot, some of whom had been waving blue and white Israeli flags to show pride for the actress and her Jewish heritage. At least one anti-Israel protestor stole an Israeli flag, resulting in a brief altercation, according to a video taken by Variety.

One protester criticized the actress to Variety, saying that they wished Gadot would have used her platform to speak out against the Israeli military and its war against Hamas. "There's just no excuse," said Roma Ealaicos.

From the last year and a half, and especially in the last 24-48 hours, 400 innocent people have been killed by the Israeli military, unprovoked.” Ealaicos added. “There’s no reason we should be celebrating an Israeli,” referring to Gadot. "She has the ability to learn and read the same books that we read. There’s just no excuse."
Despite the disruptions, people cheered for Gadot when she took the stage, wearing a white dress and her hair in a slicked-back bun. "This is a very surreal moment for me," the actress said with a beaming smile on her face, explaining that she was "just a girl from a town in Israel."
"I'm just overwhelmed with joy," she continued. "This star will remind me that with hard work and passion and some faith, anything is possible."

View on XGadot will soon be appearing back on movie screens in her upcoming role in Disney's live-action adaptation of "Snow White," where the actress was cast to portray the Evil Queen. Gadot, who served in the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), has been a vocal advocate for Israel on social media. Earlier this month, she delivered an impassioned speech about her love for Israel while being honored at the Anti-Defamation League's annual summit in New York City, where she spoke out against the October 7 terror attacks on innocent Israelis and Hamas-supporting Americans celebrating the massacre.
