Members of Antifa are gearing up to host a "radicalization & recruiting event" in Portland, Oregon this weekend. The "Fash Free Festival" is set to take place Saturday afternoon at Colonel Summers Park in the city's eastern district.
Organizers have invited fellow activists to "wear a mask and stay a while," tempting them with promises of free black bloc clothing, zines, and other far-left propaganda.

The group celebrated the violent attack perpetrated by Antifa members on Andy Ngo that resulted in a brain injury, urging attendees to celebrate a recent court ruling that found two activists not liable.

At one point while the trial was ongoing, the account promoting the event told people to "get yer cement milkshakes and head downtown."

View on XNgo warned that the event would be used for "radicalization & recruiting " people into "violent extremist affinity groups, or cells," pointing out that, "prior Antifa events of a similar nature distribute[d] extremist texts (urging for insurrections, killings & attacks on people & property)."
He added that Portland Parks and Recreation confirmed to him that the gathering had not received permission from the city.

The FFF was "planned by a group of trusted individuals with an established history of antifascist activism in the Pacific Northwest," to celebrate "another year without far right groups organizing a summer rally in Portland."
According to organizers, along with live music, attendees will have access to "free black bloc clothes to take, tables with paint, patches, stickers, art, zines and more."

View on XX users were quick to slam the event, with one user pointing out that it could not be deemed "fash free" so long as Antifa members were there, since "they ARE the totalitarian tyrants."

View on X"Quite organized for a non-organization that doesn’t exist," another quipped, referencing the left's claim that Antifa is simply an idea.
