View on XActivists and agitators in Portland have had no problem taking the fight to the streets, night after night, demanding the defunding of police, the resignation of Mayor Ted Wheeler, and listing other social justice concerns.
Wheeler made it out to a protest to hear activists' concerns. Back in June, the Portland city council voted to remove $15 million from the police department, and the new DA has active Antifa connections.
Activists and agitators, however, have not taken their victories and gone home. Instead, they continue to protest and riot. After her declaration of a social justice war, Winston said that the police should never have been born.
She said that police should have been strangled in the womb by their umbilical cords, and deserve to "fry like bacon" in the electric chair. The crowd cheered.

View on XWinston's son, Patrick Kimmons, was killed by Portland police in September 2018, when he reportedly shot two people and ran toward officers with a weapon drawn. Kimmons was one of six people who were shot and killed by officers in Portland that year. Officers were cleared from all charges in Kimmons' death.
Media accounts focussed instead on the narrative of mostly peaceful protests, and the justification of the activists to fight for justice in Kimmons' death.
