View on XMany of the activists were wrapped in Palestinian keffiyehs and were recognized after they participated in pro-Hamas events on campus including the Gaza camp last Spring. Some of the more violent extremists dressed in Antifa black-bloc. The activists were so violent that they even assaulted a protestor who came to demonstrate with them for calling out their rhetoric.

View on XKrolczyk said the TPUSA event was canceled because of safety concerns for herself, attendees, and police officers trying to safeguard the event. She pledged to come back and try to speak again. She said in a video after the event that security had to dress her in police clothing and sneak her out of the building. She slammed campus security for leaving students to fend for themselves before eventually returning to evacuate them. Krolczyk noted that "President Donald Trump signed an Executive order not to fund schools that don't support freedom of speech and I can tell you right now, the University of Washington doesn't support free speech."

View on XRachel Anderson, TPUSA’s College Field Rep for Western Washington and Alaska told Frontlines’ Jonathan Choe, “They’re censoring our speech. They’re not allowing people who want to attend the event in the room.” She added, “It’s really sad that rather than having constructive dialogue on the issue, they are censoring women.”
Charlie Kirk, the founder and CEO of TPUSA, posted on X following the incident, "The President of UW is potentially in serious trouble with the Dept. of Education Civil Rights Division. President Trump has said NO federal funding for schools that don't support free speech. Also a blatant violation of students’ freedom of expression. This crap stops now. Preserve your records, UW!"

View on XEarlier in the day Krolczyk told The Ari Hoffman Show on Talk Radio 570 KVI that her topic for the evening would be that “God created man and woman, that women deserve to not compete against men in their sports, that we deserve to keep the First Amendment right to free speech, and that we should not have DEI in our classrooms because right now our schools and businesses are all ideologically challenged and we need to stop that.”

View on XShe added, “I am excited to have some conversations with these students, we'll see if they actually want to have a conversation or if they're going to show up with some bull horns and make some noise. But either way, I'm excited for the reception here tonight.”
Earlier in the school year, rather than remove and arrest pro-Hamas activists, police escorted administrators, faculty, and members of the Jewish community who had come to speak about campus antisemitism, through tunnels after surrendering the building to the radicals.

View on XIn the waning hours of the Biden administration, the University of Washington negotiated settlements with the Department of Education for pending civil rights cases against the school for rampant antisemitism. The school was let off the hook with no real repercussions or consequences despite being ranked among the top-five most antisemitic colleges in the US.
