BREAKING: Donald Trump Jr. travels to Greenland as President Trump continues to explore US ownership of territory

"As someone who has traveled to some fascinating places across the globe as an outdoorsman, I’m excited to stop into Greenland for a little bit of fun this week," Trump Jr. told Fox News.

President Trump posted on Truth Social: "I am hearing that the people of Greenland are “MAGA.” My son, Don Jr, and various representatives, will be traveling there to visit some of the most magnificent areas and sights. Greenland is an incredible place, and the people will benefit tremendously if, and when, it becomes part of our Nation. We will protect it, and cherish it, from a very vicious outside World. MAKE GREENLAND GREAT AGAIN!"

Per Fox: "Trump Jr. is 'popping in for a quick day-long trip to shoot some fun video content for podcasting... 'He will not be meeting with any government officials or political figures,"

When announcing his new ambassador to Denmark, Trump said "For purposes of National Security and Freedom throughout the World, the United States of America feels that the ownership and control of Greenland is an absolute necessity. Ken will do a wonderful job in representing the interests of the United States. Thank you Ken, and congratulations!"

This is a developing story and will be updated.
