On Thursday morning, Hunter Biden arrived at a Wilmington, DE courthouse to be deposed as part of the civil lawsuit brought forth by John Paul Mac Issac, the owner of the Delaware computer shop where Biden left his laptop in 2019.
Mac Issac filed the defamation lawsuit against the First Son in October of 2022. He alleged that Biden had falsely said the laptop wasn't his and claimed that the materials had been hacked. Isaac turned the laptop over to the FBI, which sat on it for over a year, both allowing and encouraging the idea that it was a product of Russian disinformation.
In March, Biden filed a countersuit alleging that Mac Issac had illegally distributed his personal data and accused him of six counts of invasion of privacy, according to Fox News.

While repairing the salvageable laptop, Mac Issac said he discovered disturbing materials on it.
The customer did not return within a 90-day window for the laptop, and Mac Issac said he could not get a hold of the owner.
He said he first searched through the emails on the laptop by keyword in June or July of 2019.
The laptop's authenticity has been verified by numerous news outlets, and Biden said it very well could have been his.
