BREAKING: James Comer says Hunter’s ex-partner Devon Archer’s testimony confirms ‘Joe Biden lied’—Joe was ‘the brand’

"Devon Archer’s testimony today confirms Joe Biden lied to the American people when he said he had no knowledge about his son’s business dealings and was not involved. Joe Biden was ‘the brand’ that his son sold around the world to enrich the Biden family," Comer said in a statement.

When Biden was the US Vice President, he joined his son at dinners with foreign business associates either in person or over speakerphone over 20 times, Comer said of the testimony.

"When Burisma’s owner was facing pressure from the Ukrainian prosecutor investigating the company for corruption, Archer testified that Burisma executives asked Hunter to ‘call DC’ after a Burisma board meeting in Dubai," he said.

"Why did Joe Biden lie to the American people about his family’s business dealings and his involvement? It begs the question what else he is hiding from the American people," Comer questioned.

The Chairman stated that the committee will continue its investigation into the Bidens' foreign business dealings and "interview witnesses to determine whether foreign actors targeted the Bidens, President Biden is compromised and corrupt, and our national security is threatened."

Among the key takeaways from the four-hour session was that Archer testified that the value of adding Hunter Biden to the board of Ukrainian energy company Burisma was "the brand," adding that then-Vice President Biden was "the brand."

Archer stated that "Burisma would have gone out of business if 'the brand' had not been attached to it."

Archer testified that in December of 2015, Burisma owner Mykola Zlochevsky and Burisma executive Vadym Pozharski placed constant pressure on Hunter Biden to get aid from Washington DC in regards to Viktor Shokin’s investigation into corruption within Burisma.

Hunter Biden, Zlochevsky, and Pozharski "called DC" to discuss the matter, and stepped away to make the call.

Archer also testified that Hunter put his father on over speakerphone in over 20 business meetings, and that Biden was put on the phone to sell "the brand." These calls include a dinner in Paris with a French energy company, as well as in China with BHR CEO Jonathan Li.

Biden was said to have had coffee with Li, and even wrote a letter of recommendation for college for Li’s daughter.

Archer also confirmed that Hunter referred to Joe Biden as "my guy."

The list of key takeaways also states that "In spring of 2014, then-Vice President Biden attended a business dinner with his son, Hunter, and his associates at Café Milano in Washington, DC. Elena Baturina, a Russian oligarch who is the widow of the former mayor of Moscow, attended the dinner. Notably, the Biden Administration’s public sanctions list for Russian oligarchs does not contain Baturina."

This is a breaking story and will be updated.
