It has been revealed that the debris field found in the search area for the missing Titanic submersible, the 5 passenger Titan, included the landing frame and rear cover of the vessel.
Sky News revealed that he is in a WhatsApp group that is connected to those on ships looking for the vessel, and those on the ships are saying that the debris field "was a landing frame and a rear cover from the submersible."
"So again, this is a very unconventional submarine. That rear cover is that point at the end of it and the landing frame is this little frame that it seems to sit on and that’s how it gets docked into the landing bit.

On Thursday, the US Coast Guard confirmed that a debris field had been found in the search area. The submersible had been traveling to see the Titanic wreckage, which lies 12,500 feet below the surface and around 400 miles off the coast of Newfoundland, Canada.
"A debris field was discovered within the search area by an ROV near the Titanic. Experts within the unified command are evaluating the information," The US Coast Guard Northeast wrote on Twitter.
The submersible lost contact with its ship on Sunday, and had around 96 hours of oxygen supply.
Inside the 5-person submersible were French Titanic expert Paul-Henry Nargeolet, OceanGate CEO Stockton Rush, British billionaire Hamish Harding, Pakistani businessman Shahzada Dawood and his 19-year-old son.
