BREAKING: Second Richmond venue caves to Antifa pressure, CANCELS Andy Ngo talk

According to Ngo, the event will go on as planned at a new location that will only be disclosed to ticket holders within close proximity to the start of the event.

Marriot reportedly forced the Westin Richmond hotel to cancel the event following threats of violence and harassment from Antifa, Ngo reports.

"This is the second venue to cancel following the Commonwealth Club. @CommonSenseScty & @VA_Council remain committed to this event and it will proceed at a third venue in secret. Violent extremists resort to what they are best at and we will not be cowed," Ngo said on X.

Marion Smith, the president of Common Sense Society, released a joint statement with the Virginia Council after the Westin canceled the venue and insisted that the event would go on at a third location, saying that they will not succumb to the "bullying" intimidation from Antifa.

"Virginians—particularly Richmonders—desperately need to hear a message of hope as they endure Antifa's vandalism, bullying, threats, and general disregard for public safety. They need to see individuals and businesses courageously stand up for freedom of speech, the rule of law, and the wellbeing of Virginians," the statement reads.

"Common Sense Society, The Virginia Council, and our guest Andy Ngo intend to be that beacon of light and hope. Through our inaugural and ongoing Virginia Forums, we will strengthen the many courageous yet weary Virginians who want to defend their freedoms, preserve their history, and advance prosperity in their home state," it continues. "The Commonwealth Club had an opportunity to stand up with us, but they backed out in fear. The Westin (Marriott Corp.) then had the chance to be that platform. They've also elected to cower."

"Let us be perfectly clear. Common Sense Society and The Virginia Council will not succumb to bullying. If anything, Antifa’s destructive behavior underscores the critical need for free speech and the rule of law in Richmond. We are confident that liberty, prosperity, and beauty will ultimately prevail in the Commonwealth," the statement concludes.

Antifa and far-left activists have been desperately trying to find out the location of Ngo's speaking event since it was first announced that the world-renowned journalist would be coming to Richmond. While two venues have pulled out, Antifa is now trying to doxx the third venue that agreed to host Ngo just hours before the event is set to take place.

Antifa-affiliated members have posted flyers on social media and calls to action that target Ngo. One flyer states: "Fascists not welcome in RVA. Andy Ngo, we said it and we mean it. Stay out of our city." The flyer features a photo of a violent assault carried out against Ngo in Portland in 2019 by members of Rose City Antifa.

Robyn Proffer, who is behind the "Nonbinarymachinelanguage" account on Instagram and "enbyMachine" on X, was arrested in Richmond in 2020 amid the destructive BLM riots that spread across the country.

Furthermore, Antifa-affiliated individuals have also been using X to coordinate the campaign attacks which led to the Westin and the Commonwealth Club canceling the venue.

These same people are now trying to doxx the third venue on X and are encouraging people to harass the front desk worker with phone calls.

An account on X with the username @DSTRadicals provided a script for people to say when they call the front desk, which falsely claims that Ngo is a "homophobic neo-nazi" and that his supporters will show up "armed" with weapons.

"Hey, the event this evening features a racist, misogynist, homophobe intent on provocative neo nazi speech. His name is Andy Ngo and he is a violent extremist. Many of his attendees are armed neo-nazis," the script reads.
