BREAKING: Texas serial killer Billy Chemirmir who murdered dozens of elderly white women killed in prison by cellmate
He was reportedly killed by his cellmate.
He was reportedly killed by his cellmate.

Billy Chemirmir, a 50-year-old man who allegedly killed almost two dozen older women in addition to being convicted last year for taking the life of two women, was found dead in a Texas prison Tuesday morning after his cellmate had killed him, according to an official.
Texas Department of Criminal Justice spokeswoman Hannah Haney said that Chemirmir’s cellmate, who is in prison for murder, was identified as the killer. She would not release his identity nor how Chemirmir lost his life.
Chemirmir has been given indictments for 22 capital murder charges, thirteen of which were in Dallas County while nine were in Collin County.
Haney stated that the Office of Inspector General has launched a probe into his death.
Prosecutors said that Chemirmir had gone after people inside their homes or at senior independent living centers. He would smother people with pillows, and then steal jewelry.
According to 5 NBCDFW, the majority of the deaths were initially determined to be of natural causes, even after families had reported suspicious circumstances surrounding stolen jewelry. Once a woman had survived after Chemirmir had allegedly attempted to kill her, police filed indictments against the suspected serial killer.
Collin County District Attorney Greg Willis decided last month to not shoot for the death penalty in 11 of Chemirmir's murder cases.
This is a breaking story and will be updated.
