Charlie Kirk says Fox News personalities ‘not allowed’ to appear at AmFest, record-breaking 13,000 tickets sold

Speaking on the lineup, which included Roseanne Barr, Rob Schneider and Patrick Bet-David, Kirk asked, "What’s missing? We don’t have a single person from Fox here."

"I’m being nice, I love Fox, they’ve been very good to me, I hope we can heal our relationship because for whatever reason, it’s gone off the reservation since Tucker’s departure."

"So we had to kind of do an event without Fox and that was a great thing, man. Because sometimes, sometimes desperation is the mother of innovation. Right?"

Noting hosts like Jesse Watters and Greg Gutfield, Kirk said "I love them" but "we couldn’t do it. They’re not allowed to be here."

According to Mediaite, a report from July stated that the rift between Turning Point and Fox came about with Fox’s settlement with Dominion, with a source telling the Daily Beast, "Fox’s relationship with Turning Point is basically over. They don’t want their talent associated with them anymore."

Kirk said the conference went under a redesign, instead focusing on culture.

"And, man, what we pulled off. It's not that I want credit, but we deserve it. I'll be honest. Okay. Because we have Bannon to Gaetz to Don Jr. to a current NBA player who’s averaging 10 points a game ... to Roseanne Barr, number one television program on network or cable forever. Rob Schneider, A-list comedian, right? PBD, one of the most successful entrepreneurs, best-selling guy and millions of social media followers. And then you still kind of get your red meat politics plus with 30 breakout trainings, Big & Rich country music, LoCash country music, RaeLynn country music so that's special."

Kirk said this went to show two things: "the moment is now outside of traditional politics because the country really is collapsing" and "that Turning Point is now being identified as more than just like 'Oh, it's right wing.' It's like no, actually, we're kind of it's something that people want to be associated with."

Marlow noted that the event was a "record event" for Turning Point, to which Kirk said that 13,000 tickets were sold.

"It’s noticeably bigger than last year. Would you agree? Like you walk in, it just almost feels like double the size."

Kirk said he was "sad" Trump couldn’t come, but added that because of the size of the event "it should actually give him great comfort that his movement is going to live on beyond him."

"Turning Point is this thing that's going to outlive and be institutionalized as the leader in the movement," he added, noting that the all-ages event featured everything from young students to mothers and retirees in attendance.

Andrew Kolvet, the spokesman for TPUSA, told The Post Millennial: “We would love to book Jesse, Laura, Greg, Pete, Kayleigh, and others. We've enjoyed having them at many of our events in the past and hopefully will again in the future. But the show goes on, and more importantly, the fight to save America continues."

"The takeaway is clear," he said: "The grassroots is passionate, informed, and the media landscape is changing. People are getting their content from new places. There is no monopoly on news and influence, and TPUSA is at the epicenter of that evolving landscape."
