Hamas leaders spent millions on hotel in Qatar during conflict with Israel as Biden expected to restore funding to PA

A hotel invoice for over a million dollars in services allegedly provided to leaders of the terrorist organization Hamas went viral Sunday, just as the Biden administration is poised to resume payments of hundreds of millions of dollars to the Palestinian Authority to rebuild Gaza.
Ismaeel Haneyah is one of the disputed prime ministers of the Palestinian Authority and one of the senior leaders of Hamas. He was dismissed from office in 2007 by Mahmoud Abbas, chairman of the Palestinian Authority during the height of the conflict for control of Gaza between Fatah and Hamas terrorist factions. He continued to exercise authority in the Gaza strip, failing to relinquish his title and was elected Hamas political chief in 2017.

The invoice for the Ismaeel Haneyah Team for 11 days in the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in the center of Msheireb Downtown Doha in Qatar included over $26,000 in spa charges as well as over $300,000 in "other charges." The hotel would not comment or confirm the invoice.
President Joe Biden’s $6 trillion budget proposal for the 2022 fiscal year includes $360 million in aid to the Palestinians, which US Secretary of State Tony Blinken announced last week in a visit to the Palestinian Authority (PA) leadership in Ramallah.
Former President Donald Trump had suspended payments to the Palestinian Authority over concerns corruption and funding of terrorism including “pay-for-slay” where families of terrorists receive compensation for attacking Israelis. That type of funding is prohibited by US law under the Taylor Force Act of 2018.
Biden has also pledged to restore funding to UNRWA, which Trump also had cut due to their anti-Israel propaganda and alleged collusion with terrorists.
Biden also promised to re-open a US consulate in Jerusalem, specifically to work with the Palestinians, even though those tasks are currently performed by the US Embassy. There are also signs that Biden may re-open the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) in Washington, DC. The PLO charter calls for the destruction of the Jewish state.
Though much of the money has been earmarked for rebuilding Gaza, aid money previously sent by the US for similar purposes has been used to build terror tunnels, re-arm terrorists and increase the lavish lifestyle of Palestinian leaders.
