Idaho massacre suspect was pulled over in Indiana multiple times at direction of FBI to get images of his hands

Kohberger, who has been accused of quadruple homicide in connection to the murder of four Idaho college students, was pulled over twice with his father within a nine-minute time span on I-70 during the road trip. One source told Fox News that the FBI had asked police to stop the Kohbergers to gather video images of Kohberger and his hands to make a case for the arrest.

Kohberger was arrested on December 30 at his parents' Poconos house.

Police body cam footage from one of the roadside stops shows the Kohbergers being stopped by Hanock County Police officers after what they said was tailgating. The Kohbergers discussed an incident near Washington State University where a SWAT team killed a man in an incident that took place not too long after Kohberger's alleged murders.

“Well, we're coming from WSU," the older Kohberger says. "So you're coming from Washington State University, and you're going where?" the officer asks. Kohberger replies "We're going to Pennsylvania."

Kohberger was sent by plane back to Idaho after he agreed to be extradited to the Gem state from Pennsylvania. After being asked by Judge Margherita Worthington if he'd like to "waive the rights that I have just explained to you and return to the state of Idaho," Kohberger simply replied "yes." The judge would also pass a gag order to block investigators and lawyers from speaking about the case.

"On January 3, 2023, Latah County Magistrate Judge Megan Marshall issued a nondissemination order in regard to the murder case against Bryan C Kohberger. The order prohibits any communication by investigators, law enforcement personnel, attorneys, and agents of the prosecuting attorney or defense attorney concerning this case." Moscow police shared in a statement.
