Joe Biden participated in over 24 calls with Hunter’s overseas business partners: report
“We are looking forward very much to hearing from Devon Archer about all the times he has witnessed Joe Biden meeting with Hunter Biden’s overseas business partners when he was vice president.”
Devon Archer, Hunter Biden's former close associate, is expected to testify before Congress about at least two dozen calls then-Vice President Joe Biden had with his son during business meetings with overseas partners.
Archer was subpoenaed on June 12 to testify before the House Oversight Committee on the Biden family and his dealings with Hunter's overseas ventures. He is expected to testify this week, according to the New York Post.

Committee Chairman Rep. James Comer said, "We are looking forward very much to hearing from Devon Archer about all the times he has witnessed Joe Biden meeting with Hunter Biden’s overseas business partners when he was vice president, including on speakerphone."
During meetings that Hunter held with overseas business associates, the First Son allegedly included his father when he was Vice President. Hunter would put his father on speakerphone to participate in business dealings.
One such meeting was in Dubai in December 2015 involving the Ukrainian energy company Burisma. Hunter was getting paid to be on the board of the company at the time.
After a board meeting with Burisma, a Burisma executive, Vadym Pozharskyi, allegedly called Hunter and asked him if he could meet again, per the request of Burisma owner, Mykola Zlochevsky. Once the second meeting with the executives started, Hunter was asked by Pozharskyi to call his father. Hunter complied, dialed Biden, and placed the phone on the table with speaker enabled.
Three days before the call, Biden was due to fly to Kyiv to address the Ukrainian parliament about widespread Ukrainian "cronyism, corruption, and kleptocracy."
Ukrainian Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin was also investigating Burisma for corruption at the time. A few months later he was fired after Vice President Biden had threatened to withhold $1 billion in aid to Ukraine.
Biden bragged about the firing of the Ukrainian prosecutor later in 2018 in a talk for the Council on Foreign Relations, “I looked at them and said, ‘I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money.’ Well, son of a b*tch. He got fired.”
Archer is expected to testify to details regarding this and other meetings with now-President Biden and his son, Hunter, that dealt with oversea business dealings while Biden was Vice President, as per the New York Post report.
