Kamala Harris, Gretchen Whitmer caught on hot mic saying they ‘need to move ground among men’

Whitmer welcomed the vice president at Trak Houz Bar & Grill, where the two shared a beer together.

“Can I treat you to a beer, made here in Kalamazoo?” Whitmer is heard telling Harris.

“I am having what she’s having,” Harris replied.

While talking, Harris leaned over and remarked to Whitmer, “We need to move ground among men,” a sentiment Whitmer agreed with. Harris then noticed microphones nearby, picking up their conversation.

“Oh, we have microphones in here just listening to everything,” she said as she turned around and acknowledged the media. “We just told all the family secrets. Sh*t,” she added and began laughing.

The incident followed Harris’ rally in Michigan that featured former first lady Michelle Obama. In the final days of the election race, Harris has been enlisting the help of left-wing heavy hitters such as the Obamas and celebrities like Beyonce.

Harris’ campaign is concerned about the large gender gap among male voters between her and former President Donald Trump. Recent polling has shown Trump has a 15-point lead among male voters in Pennsylvania, and an 18-point lead among male voters in Nevada, two crucial swing states in this election.

In response, Harris’ team has been pushing a series of ploys designed to rally men. The campaign has advertised on platforms with a large male base, such as the sports betting platform DraftKings and the gaming platform Twitch. A pro-Democrat group also recently pushed a pro-pornography ad that shows a man masturbating and tells male voters the GOP will crack down on adult content if elected.
