Symone Sanders, Kamala's Chief Spokesperson, Ashley Etienne, her Director of Communications, Press Operations Director Peter Velz, and Vince Evans, the Deputy Director of Public Engagement and Intergovernmental Affairs, have all walked away from their positions within days of each other.

An anonymous source told the press on the subject of working for the Vice President that "It’s clear that you’re not working with somebody who is willing to do the prep and the work."
Sanders herself commented publicly, saying that the job was incredibly difficult:
"We are not making rainbows and bunnies all day. What I hear is that people have hard jobs and I’m like ‘welcome to the club.'"
Sanders went on to indicate that she was "ready for a break after three years of the relentless pressure that came with speaking for and advising Biden and Harris …"
Another former top aide for Kamala, Gil Duran, also spoke his piece, warning that this could be far from the end of a mass exodus of the Vice President's staff:
"One of the things we’ve said in our little text groups among each other is what is the common denominator through all this and it’s her.
"Who are the next talented people you’re going to bring in and burn through and then have (them) pretend they’re retiring for positive reasons?"
Duran continued, saying that "the ceaseless staff turnover will continue unless the White House takes charge and provides stewardship for the vice president's office."
