Left-wing radicals are dressing up as a bloodied Charlie Kirk for Halloween to mock the Turning Point USA founder’s assassination last year, with some taking the mockery further by making it a couple's costume and having a female partner portray his widow, Erika.
Dozens of TikTok users have posted videos of themselves dressed as Charlie and Erika Kirk, with men wearing the white “Freedom” T-shirt Kirk was wearing when he was fatally shot. The costumes feature fake blood around the neck to mock his fatal gunshot wound, with some carrying microphones to reference the speaking events Kirk was known for, including the one where he was assassinated at Utah Valley University.
In one video, a man wearing a bloodied Freedom T-shirt and makeup around his neck is joined by his female partner, who walks up behind him dressed as Erika to mock the widow’s appearance.
Another video featured a student in a classroom wearing a bloodied Freedom T-shirt and holding a microphone. The video was captioned, “dressing up as Charlie Kirk in school.”
Since Kirk’s assassination in September 2025 by alleged shooter Tyler Robinson, a left-wing extremist, many on the political left have repeatedly mocked his death. Some have gone as far as to actively celebrate the killing.
Actress Amanda Seyfried called Kirk “hateful” following his assassination and refused to apologize for the remarks. In the recent film “You Can See Everything,” Seyfried called the slain conservative activist a “p*ssy.”
Internet personality Tana Mongeau released a video on social media earlier this month aimed directly at Erika, parodying the 2026 YouTube video “A Message From Erika Kirk.” Mongeau wore all black and sat at a microphone while breathing heavily and staring intensely to mock the widow.
“I feel like I should immediately apologize for this but I’m not sure if I’m sorry so,” Mongeau’s captain read.
