"Biden’s reckless policy is also an open invitation to even the most wanted terrorists in the world to come to America. They know they’ll never have to leave. The nation knows what’s going on and this president has only begun to be held accountable for what he has done."

View on XTitle 42 is a Trump-era policy that allowed the Border Patrol and the Department of Homeland Security (HHS) to turn away illegal immigrants over health concerns. The policy was set to expire last May but a federal court ordered it to stay in place and it was eventually extended through this May. President Biden said in December that ending the policy was overdue."
The Biden admin has seen a record-breaking number of illegal immigrants cross the border. In 2022, over 2.3 million people were reported to have come into the US illegally. Last month was the highest monthly total in DHS History.
The border patrol has also seen record numbers of drugs, including fentanyl, cross the border.
The President has been loosening restrictions at the southern border since taking office. In March of 2021, he appointed Vice President Kamala Harris to manage the border crisis where his administration made it known that anyone who was seeking asylum or those under 18 who arrived without adult supervision would be admitted.
