MyPillow’s Mike Lindell has his phone records subpoenaed by Jan 6 committee
The committee commissioned by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) to investigate the events of Jan. 6 2021 has now subpoenaed Mike Lindell, the CEO of MyPillow, asking for a copy of his phone records.
The committee is demanding the phone records from Nov. 1 2020 until Jan. 31 2021. Lindell, however has filed a suit on Wednesday in order to block Verizon from turning the phone records over.

Furthermore, they argue that Lindell's rights of "freedom of religion, speech, press, political expression, and to associate with others to advance their shared beliefs" would be violated by the exercise of the subpoena.
Lindell is and has been an avid supporter of ex-president Donald Trump and has spoken out publicly about his suspicions regarding the Nov. 2020 election. However,
Sebastian Gorka, another prominent Trump ally, is in a similar situation, and has filed a similar lawsuit on Tuesday. Lindell and Gorka have joined with others who have sued the Jan. 6 committee, such as Michael Flynn, Mark Meadows and John Eastman.
