The Humvee was part of a convoy believed to be headed to the Yakima Training Center in central Washington, a frequent destination for military traffic along I-90.
A military Humvee towing a trailer veered off Interstate 90 in Bellevue, Washington, on Saturday, crashing over a retaining wall and plunging approximately 30 feet onto a street below, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The incident occurred on the eastbound side of I-90 near the Eastgate neighborhood. Authorities say the vehicle, which was part of a military convoy, drifted to the right for unknown reasons. It left the roadway, crossed a grassy shoulder, and then dropped off the overpass, landing on Southeast 38th Street.
