REVEALED: Biden ‘under investigation’ for freezing billions of dollars to complete border wall

Now, the Government Accountability Office (GAO) is launching a review to determine if Biden broke the law by freezing the money that was set to go to companies tasked with completing former President Donald Trump’s southern border wall, according to Politico. The President could be in violation of budget rules which were designed to keep Congress in control of government cash flow.

Politico reported, "The probe highlights the challenge presidents have historically faced in fulfilling campaign promises that require money to be spent — or suspended — at odds with Congress' intent."

The revelation comes as Biden’s policies have triggered a border crisis which has overwhelmed the US-Mexico border.

Forty Senate Republicans wrote a letter to the GAO that Biden’s order caused "operational control of our southern border" to be "comprised and a humanitarian and national security crisis has ensued."

Over 70 House Republicans joined their Senate colleagues on Tuesday in writing their own letter asking the GAO to investigate the situation.

Since Biden took office and reversed many immigration policies put in place by the Trump administration, the southern border has become overwhelmed. The Biden administration has released illegal border crossers into the US without scheduling any kind court hearings and even release migrants who were positive for coronavirus.

According to the Daily Wire, there are over 15,000 unaccompanied migrant children currently in US custody. Recently it was reported that over in California the San Diego Convention Center will be another location for migrant children to be housed. While the Biden attempted to keep the media in the dark, footage and photographs from inside a migrant detention facility leaked showing the overcrowding and deplorable conditions.

Just yesterday it was revealed that the Biden administration is spending $90 million to house migrant families in Texas hotels.
