Freshly uncovered cell phone data appears to poke holes in the claims made by Nathan Wade and Fani Willis regarding the timeline of their relationship.
The lead prosecutor in Donald Trump's Georgia election fraud case testified that he and the Fulton County district attorney began seeing each other in 2022 and that he had visited her home in Hapeville less than 10 times before being hired in 2021.
Records show that, among other things, Wade spent the night at Willis' apartment long before they said their romantic relationship began.

View on XWhile analyzing the data, Trump's legal team discovered that the pair called each other over 2000 times, mostly in the evening, and sent nearly 12,000 text messages during the 11-month period in 2021.
Lawyers for the former president wrote that their analysis "revealed a minimum of 35 occasions when Mr. Wade's phone connected for an extended period to either one of those towers in closest proximity to [Willis'] Dogwood address," and that he was "stationary and not in transit."
On September 11, 2021, before Wade was hired, his phone was tracked near Willis' address at 10:45pm. It "remained there until September 12 at 3:28am at which time the phone traveled directly to towers located in East Cobb consistent with his routine pinging at his residence in that area" at 4:05am. Fifteen minutes later he texted Willis.
Then on November 29, 2021, Wade's phone pinged a tower near his home when Willis called at 11:32pm, however "while the call continued, his phone left the East Cobb area just after midnight and arrived within the geoface located on the Dogwood address at 12:43am on November 30" and "remained there until 4:55."
